Recently, Shaoxing City’s ecological environment law enforcement officers were divided into seven teams to conduct cross-enforcement operations in the Yuecheng District (Paojiang) area in spring to eliminate pollution. Suspected of abnormal operation of air pollution prevention and control facilities
Case 1
April 7, 2021 , law enforcement officers discovered clues to environmental violations based on law enforcement inspections. According to the “Atmospheric Pollution of the People’s Republic of China” Item 3 of Article 99 of the Prevention and Control Law “Anyone who emits air pollutants by evading supervision shall be ordered by the ecological and environmental administrative department of the people’s government at or above the county level to make corrections or restrict production or suspend production for rectification, and shall be fined not less than RMB 100,000 and RMB 1 million. A fine of not more than RMB 10,000 shall be imposed; if the circumstances are serious, the business shall be ordered to suspend business or close down upon approval by the people’s government with the power to approve.”
The enforcement action to strictly investigate factory pollution emissions has begun!
Recently, in response to the environmental pollution problem in the Yuecheng area of Shaoxing City, the investigation has come to an end, and the spring pollution cleanup cross-enforcement operation has been launched for a period of one month.
