Indonesia Global Textile’s new high-end clothing fabric project is the largest joint venture between Jiangsu Lianfa Textile Co., Ltd. and Indonesia. The PTU cooperation project, one of the garment manufacturers, has a total investment of US$190 million and purchased 257 acres of land in the Kendall Industrial Park in Central Java, Indonesia, with a total construction area of 120,000 square meters.
The project plans to build a total of 3 production workshops, including a dyeing workshop, a weaving workshop, a dyeing and finishing workshop, and an office building. There is one finished product warehouse and one raw yarn warehouse each, with sewage treatment and other supporting facilities. After the project is completed and put into operation, it can produce 36 million meters of yarn-dyed fabrics and 30 million meters of printed and dyed fabrics annually, and can achieve an annual operating income of US$120 million. Suzhong Construction Group won the general contract for the civil engineering and steel structure of this project in April. The total contract price is approximately US$21 million and the total construction period is 300 days. The project is planned to be completed by the end of January 2022 and put into production by the end of March 2022.
