Start the project with a total planned area of 1,711 acres. The project is expected to invest 6.243 billion yuan, with an environmental protection investment of 532.6274 million yuan. The construction period is 30 months. It is planned to be completed and put into production in June 2022.
The first phase of Yulin Energy’s 400,000 tons/year ethylene glycol project uses mixed coal as raw material and uses Colin’s pulverized coal gasification to produce crude syngas. The crude syngas is divided into two streams after conversion. After one stream of crude syngas undergoes heat recovery, it is sent to low-temperature methanol to elute the sulfur and CO2 impurities. The purified syngas is cryogenically separated to obtain the CO product, which is used for ethylene dioxide.
