1. High twisting error rate

Causes and solutions:

①The quick connector of the untwisted pipe or twisted pipe is not connected properly, just reconnect it.

② Insufficient untwisting is manifested by short untwisting length. The untwisting tube should be adjusted outward to increase the air intake; the adjustment should be in units of 0.1 mm. When the untwisting is insufficient, it can also be solved by rotating the untwisting tube. Z-twisted yarn rotates the untwisting tube counterclockwise. The greater the twist, the greater the rotation amount.

③The twist length is too short, adjust the twist length, Ln from Ln8 outward to Lnl, JC40~JC60 varieties are generally adjusted to Ln3.

2. The twist knot slips easily

Causes and solutions:

① The twisting pressure is too low, the twisting pressure should be increased appropriately. Depending on the yarn type and count, the adjusting spring is 0.196~0.637MPa, and pure cotton high-count yarn is generally 0.4 MPa.

②The length of the twist knot is too long, adjust the length of the twist knot, Ln from Lnl inward to Ln8.

③Insufficient untwisting, the solution is the same as above.

3. The twist knot is thin and the strength is low

Causes and solutions:

① The twisting pressure is too high, the twisting pressure should be reduced, and the adjustment amount is 0.196~0.637MPa.

②The twist length is too short, adjust Ln from Ln8 outward to Lnl.

③The untwisting length is too long and the head is thin and messy. The untwisting tube should be adjusted inward to reduce the amount of air intake. The same should be done during adjustment. It should be in units of 0.1 mm. The long tails at both ends of the twist head are caused by the length of the twist being too long, that is, the position of Ln is too far forward. Ln should be moved inward, and the twisting strength should be tested at the same time to determine the best position.

4. The twist knot head is thick on one side and has a tail

Causes and solutions:

① The twisting scissors are defective. The flying flowers at the scissors should be removed or the scissors should be replaced;

② The lower yarn or the upper yarn is poorly clamped , it may be that there are flying flowers attached to the yarn guide rod or there are yarn marks on the yarn guide rod, resulting in the clamping action not being in place. This can be solved by removing the flying flowers or replacing the yarn guide rod;

③ The position of the one-sided untwisting tube is poor and only needs slight adjustment.
