On January 24, Shaoxing Yuecheng District Economic and Information Bureau (Promotion Office), in conjunction with the District Emergency Management Bureau, District Ecological Environment Bureau, District Market Supervision Bureau and relevant local streets, conducted inspections and guidance on relevant printing and dyeing enterprises involved in reform.
The inspection team came to a number of printing and dyeing enterprises involved in reform in Doumen, Mashan, and Sunduan streets to inspect and verify the closure of the enterprises. The inspection found that the enterprises involved in the reform have basically stopped production, and the equipment in the factory area is being dismantled and relocated in an orderly manner.
Relevant persons in charge of various functional departments provided guidance on matters such as environmental protection, safety, and employee transfer and disposal involved in equipment dismantling, and urged enterprises to further accelerate the relocation and shutdown work.
It is understood that since the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government issued the “Implementation Plan for the Transformation and Upgrading of Shaoxing’s Printing, Dyeing, Chemical and Electroplating Industry” in 2018, 47 reform-related printing and dyeing enterprises in Yuecheng District have followed the overall plan of “mergers and reorganizations, integration and agglomeration, relocation and exit, and transformation and development” ideas, classify and promote the agglomeration and exit of printing and dyeing enterprises in Paojiang area. As of the end of the lunar calendar this year, 33 printing and dyeing companies involved in reform should be shut down in Yuecheng District. 11 of them have already shut down and exited, 16 have completely stopped production, and 6 have partially stopped production. All of them will be completed by January 29 at the latest.
