The quality requirements of cooked strips mainly include dryness uniformity, weight unevenness and weight deviation. The evenness of the sliver indicates the uneven thickness of the sliver. Generally, the unevenness of cooked pure cotton sliver or cooked chemical fiber sliver is controlled within the enterprise’s customized indicators. The dry weight unevenness of the final drawing is controlled within ±1%, and the best weight deviation can be controlled within ±0.5%.
On-duty lathes must be proficient in operating techniques, strictly control quality, and focus on preventing and catching defects.
1. Defect prevention work
●When changing strips – Do not dig high strips to prevent falling strips, holding strips, digging broken strips, top strips, etc.
●When jointing – prevent thick and thin strips, fried dough sticks, impurities, etc.
●During the tour – check the workmanship to prevent the wrong number and sliver barrel.
●When adjusting the rubber roller – check whether the pressure and hook positions are correct, and whether the rubber roller is dented or jumping.
●When running the cold car – check whether the cotton net, rubber roller, pressure, hook and automatic stop device are normal.
●When adjusting the gear – first drive at slow speed to check the cotton net, then drive at fast speed after normal gear adjustment.
2. Flaw-catching work
(1) Combined with patrol to catch defects
●Look at the slivers being fed, and around the full bucket – catch fried dough sticks and colored strips.
●Look at the cotton net – catch uneven strips.
●Watch the circle strips forming – catch the thick and thin strips.
●Look at the passage – catch flowers hanging in the passage.
(2) Combining the broken strips to catch defects
●Check the rubber roller to catch fried dough sticks and uneven strips.
●Check the trumpet mouth–catch three-flowered three-wire strips and thick and thin strips.
●Check the automatic device failure – catch thick and thin strips.
