What kind of equipment is used for dyeing and finishing polyester/cotton strongly twisted crepe fabrics to achieve long-lasting wrinkle effect and satisfactory hand feel?
Polyester/cotton strongly twisted crepe fabrics mostly use polyester/cotton yarn (65:35) plain weave, the warp yarn uses polyester/cotton blended chemical fiber fabric yarn with regular twist, and the weft yarn uses polyester/cotton blended chemical fiber fabric yarn with high twist. In printing and dyeing finishing, after high-temperature alkali treatment, a certain concentration of hot alkali penetrates into the interior of the spinning yarn, fully puffing the tensioned and temporarily set strip/cotton strongly twisted yarn, and then causing untwisting and elastic contraction, thereby making the fabric The surface forms irregular meridional “natural crepe”, and after resin finishing, it maintains a moderate and durable meridional wrinkle effect. The polyester/cotton strong twist crepe fabric has weft shrinkage and warp crepe. The key words are the size of the weft shrinkage and the wrinkle effect on the fabric surface. Generally speaking, when the shrinkage rate in the weft direction is high, the wrinkle effect on the fabric surface is good. For this reason, the selection of gray fabric is important. The twist rate is 130~150 twist/10cm and the shrinkage rate is 40%~50%. From the equipment point of view, the creping effect of the jet overflow coloring machine is good. This is because, using the open-width process, the fabric has a good crepe effect after being padded and piled at high temperature in the track box. However, under the action of the expansion bending roller of the tight washing machine and then dried in the dryer, wrinkles will appear. Received severe damage; but in the spray overflow toner, the fabric is in a relaxed state, not affected by tension, and shrinks in the warp and weft directions to reach the ideal state.
