Density of fabric

(1) Density of fabric Fabric density has an impact on the appearance, style, feel and other properties of the fabric as well as the weaving process. It is one of the structural elements of the fabric. However, density can only represent the number of small spinning threads per unit length, but cannot compare the tightness of the fabric. In order to compare the tightness of fabrics, both density and properties of the fabric need to be considered. 1. Worsted products: Please see chapter for details on the density design of worsted products. 2. Woolen products Most woolen products undergo milling and napping processes, and the density of the finished product changes with the degree of milling and napping. And because most products use single-strand wool yarns as warp and weft yarns, the breakage rate is high, so the machine density must be reasonably selected. When we determine the density of the machine, we must not only consider the tightness of the fabric including the floor preparation process, but also consider the density of the machine. It depends on the yarn characteristics, organizational structure, the degree of compression of the fiber in the spinning yarn, the deformation of the spinning yarn in the fabric, and the mechanical characteristics of the loom. Due to the complexity of its influencing factors, calculations are currently mainly based on empirical formulas. The specific calculation formula is:
