Increased number of caprolactam shutdowns for maintenance
Due to the intensification of corporate production losses, domestic caprolactam manufacturers have recently gradually increased their equipment maintenance or production reductions. Market supply has tightened, and the overall operating capacity of the industry has dropped to about 70%.
It is understood that Yangmei currently has no quotation, and the load is 70%; Shenma has a load of 70%; Sanning Orchid, the load is 80%, and the orchid inventory is slightly more. Sanning does not have the goods, and the main supply is to long-term cooperation. Maintenance is planned in the near future; it will stop in the middle of Dongming; Kingho plans to shut down in the middle of the year; Baling Petrochemical will shut down in the near future; Juhua is under maintenance; Tianchen Yaolong’s load has been increased to 60%; Nanjing Dongfang’s load has been increased to 80%.
As caprolactam factories are shut down for maintenance and supply tightens, there may be a small wave of price increases for downstream PA6, but there is no clear directional guidance.
Transaction status, PA6 general grade price index: 14,920 yuan/ton, an increase of 20 yuan/ton from the previous trading day; PA6 low viscosity price index: 15,562 yuan/ton, an increase of 25 yuan/ton from the previous trading day; PA66 general grade Price index: 24,300 yuan/ton, down 166 yuan/ton from the previous trading day.
The market price of PA6 mainly showed a stable consolidation; the market price of PA66 showed a weak trend that is difficult to change; the market price of PC mainly showed a large stability and small movements; the market price of ABS mainly showed an individual downward adjustment; the market price of PP mainly showed a weak downward trend. Prices are expected to remain stable.

The market price of PA6 is mainly temporarily stable. In the market, the quotations of polymerization factories are mainly stable; the supply at the cost end is reduced, and the downstream polymerization factories are cautiously waiting to see the market fluctuate within a narrow range.
