The Cotton Corporation of India recently stated that India’s cotton exports have reached 4.7 million bales so far this year, and by the end of this year India is expected to export 6-7 million bales of cotton.
It is understood that CCI has currently exported 100,000 bales, and is expected to export another 1 million bales this year. It is expected to export 1-1.2 million bales to Bangladesh this year.
The Indian Cotton Association estimates that India’s cotton export volume this year will be 6 million bales. The association believes that with the recent sharp decline in international cotton prices, Indian cotton prices have no obvious advantage, so exports will not increase much. Recently, India’s domestic area has remained stable, and the specific amount that can be exported depends on CCI’s sales. Currently, CCI has nearly 5 million bales in stock. </p
