The origin of Modal

Modal is also called Modal fiber, and its English name is Modal. Since more than 99% of the solvents used in the spinning process can be recycled, there is basically no pollution during the entire production process, it is harmless to the human body, can be decomposed naturally, and is harmless to the environment. It is called green and environmentally friendly fiber.

Modal can also reflect its weavability during the weaving process of woven fabrics, and can also be combined with other fibers Yarns are interwoven to create a variety of fabrics. The fabric we use this fiber to blend and interweave with cotton and polyester has a silky luster, good drape, soft and smooth feel, and excellent dimensional stability and durability. Modal fabrics are widely used in women’s outerwear, underwear, sportswear and home textile products.
Advantages of fabrics

1. The raw material of modal fiber comes from natural wood and can be naturally degraded after use.
2. Modal fiber is soft, smooth, bright in color, the fabric feels particularly smooth, the cloth surface is bright, and the drape is better than the existing cotton, polyester, and rayon. It has a silk-like luster and feel. It is a A natural mercerized fabric.
3. Modal fiber has the strength and toughness of synthetic fibers, with dry strength 35.6cn and wet strength 25.6cn. The strength is higher than that of pure cotton and polyester cotton, which reduces breakage during processing.
4. The moisture absorption capacity of Modal fiber is 50% higher than that of cotton fiber. This allows Modal fiber fabric to stay dry and breathable. It is an ideal personal fabric and bedding fabric, which is beneficial to the human body’s physiological circulation and health.
5. Compared with cotton fiber, modal fiber has good morphological and dimensional stability, making the fabric naturally wrinkle-resistant and non-ironing, making it more convenient and natural to wear.
6. Modal fiber has good dyeing performance and remains as bright as new after many washes. It also absorbs moisture thoroughly and has good color fastness. Compared with pure cotton, it is more comfortable to wear. Pure cotton clothing is not as easy to fade and hair loss. Huang’s shortcomings. Therefore, the fabrics are brightly colored and have stable wearing properties. After being washed together with cotton fabrics for 25 times, the hand feel will become harder with each wash. Modal fiber fabrics are just the opposite. They become softer and brighter the more they are washed.
Disadvantages of the fabric

Mordai fabric is almost perfect. The only shortcoming is that it has poor expandability. Although Mordai fabric does not contain any harmful substances, it is not suitable for some people with allergies because it is processed from chemical fiber.
Washing methods

Modal fabrics also have some common sense in terms of washing. For example, it is not necessary to use this blended fabric. Suitable for dry cleaning, it is only suitable for cleaning with water. The ironing temperature of Modal can be controlled at about 120~140℃. The following is an introduction to the washing method of Modal fabric:
1. Modal fabric is suitable for washing, but not dry cleaning or washing with water. It should be soaked as you wash it, and the soaking time should not exceed 15 minutes, otherwise the dirt in the laundry detergent will be easily immersed again.
2. Modal fabrics can be machine washed. The water temperature should not be too high. It is recommended to wash by hand.
3. Modal fabric has shorter fibers and the fabric will become slightly stiffer when exposed to water. When washing, try to wash it by hand gently to avoid excessive friction.
4. It is best to use neutral detergent or low-alkali detergent when washing. Do not use fabric softener.
5. After washing in lotion, rinse thoroughly with clean water to avoid laundry detergent remaining on the bedding, causing the bedding to become discolored and yellow.
6. When draining after washing, the bedding should be folded up to squeeze out a lot of water. Do not twist it to avoid excessive deformation.
