The Hami Guanghui Ethylene Glycol Project is the first comprehensive energy utilization project in China that utilizes waste gas resources to produce ethylene glycol. It realizes the maximum utilization of waste gas resources and ultimately It can transform complex waste gas resources into effective syngas resources.

After the project is completed, it can effectively utilize 3 billion cubic meters of waste gas every year, effectively save 600,000 tons of standard coal, and directly reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 600,000 tons and indirectly reduce carbon dioxide emissions every year. 1.7 million tons, which plays a very positive role in promoting energy conservation and emission reduction and promoting green development of the ecological environment. The entire project includes gas purification equipment, ethylene glycol equipment and public auxiliary systems, all of which are constructed by our company’s EPC general contract. Among them, the most critical technology adopts the third-generation patented technology of “WHB synthesis gas to polyester-grade ethylene glycol” jointly developed by China Wuhuan Engineering Co., Ltd., Huashuo Technology Co., Ltd., and Hebi BMW (Group) Co., Ltd. The technology is mature, reliable, environmentally friendly, and leads the country in material consumption per ton of product. Seven sets of technology transfers have been achieved, with a total ethylene glycol production capacity of 2 million tons/year.
