At 10:00 on January 4, the Dushan Energy Phase III PTA project with a total investment of 5.33 billion yuan officially started construction in Dushan Port Economic Development Zone, Pinghu City, Zhejiang. After reaching capacity, it is expected to achieve annual operating income of 20.8 billion yuan, with profits and taxes exceeding 1.6 billion yuan. ; At 11 o’clock, the Nanotechnology new materials project with a total investment of 1.3 billion yuan was signed. After the project reaches production, the annual output value will be more than 4 billion yuan, and the annual tax revenue will be more than 500 million yuan.
New materials are one of Pinghu’s two leading industries. From January to November 2021, new materials achieved an output value of 40.42 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 98.4%, and contributed more than 50% to the growth rate of industrial added value above designated size. The annual output value is expected to exceed 45 billion yuan. As the “main” platform for the development of new materials, Dushangang Economic Development Zone clearly proposed at the just-concluded Pinghu Party Congress that its five-year output value exceed 120 billion yuan.
According to reports, since Dushan Energy settled in Pinghu Dushan Port in November 2016, it has also encountered problems such as land constraints during the advancement process. In order to promote the sustainable development of the Dushan Energy Integration Project, Dushan Port Town and various departments worked together to vacate a total of 409 acres of inefficient land in the first and second phases. In the third phase, the overall merger and acquisition of inefficient enterprises was implemented to revitalize the project. 804 acres of land.
Dushan Energy PTA Project
In October 2019, the first phase of Dushan Energy’s 2.2 million tons PTA project was successfully put into operation.
In October 2020, the second phase of the PTA project PTA was put into production. At this point, the production capacity of 5 million tons of the two phases of the project will be successfully achieved.
As a self-sufficient raw material project, most of the PTA products produced by the Dushan Energy Project will be supplied to the two major polyester filament production bases, Tongxiang Zhouquan and Huzhou.
