Maersk

FedEx and UPS stop shipping to Russia and Ukraine
Recently, two of the world’s largest logistics companies, United Parcel Service (UPS) and FedEx Corp, said they would suspend delivery services to Russia and Ukraine.
UPS said in its announcement that due to the situation in Ukraine, the following UPS services have been suspended:
• Affecting receipt and delivery of all transport services to and from Ukraine and within Ukraine (February 24 – until further notice);
•International shipments to Russian destination addresses (effective February 25th – until further notice).
UPS said the focus of this move is to ensure the safety of its employees. UPS will continue to monitor the situation closely and will restore service as soon as practicable and safe. Additionally, packages that are undeliverable in transit will be returned to the sender free of charge where possible.
FedEx also issued an announcement on the 24th stating:
Due to the current situation, FedEx and TNT will suspend services within and outside Ukraine until further notice. Goods already in transit will be temporarily stored in our warehouse.
It is unclear whether the two companies continue to use Russian airspace as part of their general operations. Neither party immediately responded to requests for comment.
Meanwhile, German logistics company Deutsche Post DHL also said it has suspended cargo to and from Ukraine and is avoiding Ukrainian airspace for global operations.
