In accordance with the “Implementation Rules for Fabric Product Quality Supervision and Spot Inspections in the First Quarter of 2014” and GB18401-2010 “National Basic Safety Technical Specifications for Textile Products”, GB/T411-2008 “Cotton Printed and Dyeed Fabrics”, FZ/T14007-2011 “Cotton-Polyester Blended Printed and Dyeed Fabrics” “, FZ/T01057-2007 “Identification of Textile Fiber Content” and other mandatory national standards and corresponding product standards. This time, the fiber content, formaldehyde content, PH value, color fastness to washing, and dry rubbing resistance of the fabric are mainly Seven indicators including color fastness, washing dimensional change rate and breaking strength were tested. The results show that the main problems are that the pH value, breaking strength, washing dimensional change rate, labeling and other items do not meet the standard requirements.

According to the quality supervision department, the pH value refers to the residual acid and alkali content in clothing fabrics. It is also one of the limit indicators for harmful substances that affect human safety and health in textiles. The mandatory standard “National Basic Safety Technical Specifications for Textile Products” (GB18401-2010) sets clear and strict limits on the PH value content in textile products. For example, the standard requires that the pH value of infants and children and textile products that are in direct contact with the skin should be controlled between 4.0 and 7.5, and the pH value of textile products that are not in direct contact with the skin should be controlled between 4.0 and 9.0. The fabrics sampled this time were all inspected according to the category of non-direct skin contact products. The pH value of unqualified products exceeded the limit of 9.0.

The washing dimensional change rate (commonly known as shrinkage) index reflects the phenomenon that the length or width of textile products changes after washing, dehydration, drying and other processes under specified conditions. It is closely related to wearing and use, and is also an assessment of whether the fabric meets national standards. important indicators. Although only one batch of products failed to pass the inspection, the problems highlighted cannot be ignored. Simply looking at the data from the inspection results, there were 22 batches of fabrics with a shrinkage rate exceeding 5%, accounting for 73.3% of the products sampled. If it is not processed, it will be unqualified to be directly made into bed sheets, quilt covers, clothing and other products. Since the fabrics sampled this time did not indicate their clear uses, they were judged according to the national low standards in accordance with the detailed judgment requirements, so the pass rate for this indicator is relatively high.

The Gansu Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision requires that in response to problems discovered during random inspections, the quality and technical supervision departments of various cities (states) should take effective measures in accordance with the provisions of relevant laws and regulations to urge enterprises that produce (distribution) unqualified products to conscientiously rectify and make corrections in the future.
